The orange mechanical pencils, which I liked for their dark lead and strength (almost unbreakable) seem to be unavailable, replaced by yellow pencils with light lead that break easily. I saw other complaints like this online. Poor quality.

Pens ink were dried when purchased

I'm very disappointed! I bought them at a Giant grocery store about three months ago and don't have the receipt anymore because I was still using the old ones and didn't keep the receipt!

I have been your biggest fan of your mechanical pencils until a year ago. They noticeably changed from orange to yellow at that time and the problem is the low-quality #2 lead.
It is not dark enough to read. Looks like the product has been outsourced to China. I am surely not the only person to notice this change. Why did you change a product that worked so well?
Probably the cost, and if so, pass the increase on to the consumer so we have a workable product.

- - One InkJoy pen from a 22-pack wouldn't work; replacing its plastic with a good pen's piece made it work, and compensation is sought.
I got a brand new 22 pack of inkjoys and as I tried them out one of my pens wasnt working right. Naturally, I decided to investigate the pen by taking it and one that was working fine apart.
The pen had an extra spring in the metal pushy piece. Of course, I took the extra spring out expecting it to work. When it didnt I was upset and confused.
I then opened them back up to reinvestigate and it seemed like the little plastic piece that goes inside the metal pushy piece is melted too much?¿ I then proceeded to use all of the defective pens pieces except for the plastic one and replaced the plastic one with the good pens plastic piece and it works! But because of this I am not able to use one of my pens that I paid money for and I am sad:( I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to compensate for this.

I have exactly the same complaint. The orange pencils were dark and practically unbreakable. They seem to be discontinued, replaced by yellow pencils that are TOO LIGHT and TOO BREAKABLE.
